Olivia was by far the tiniest little newborn I had ever done a photo shoot with weighing in around the mid 5 pound range if I recall correctly! Just like any newborn, this little girl was a champion sleeper! The shoot was split into two different days, due to fading light, and she only woke up for a few minutes at the end on both days. Thankfully sleeping babies are just as cute as awake babies! Here are a few photos from Olivia’s shoot.
A few weeks ago I did a newborn shoot for my good friends Daniela and Jim and their new baby boy James. This not so little guy was 9lbs 2oz at birth and is the most awake and alert week old baby I have ever seen. He is absolutely adorable and I can’t wait until his 3 month shoot to do more pictures.
About a week and a half ago I did a newborn shoot for baby S who just happens to be my 2nd cousin. She is only two and a half weeks old in these pictures but will be a month old already on Saturday. We started out with the traditional newborn photos while the rest of the family anxiously waited downstairs for their turn to hold her. Of course since it’s my family it wouldn’t have been complete without a few photos of baby S’s grandparents and great grandpop holding her. Thanks to my good friends Kate & Mike I was able to do my first newborn photo shoot last month. We weren’t able to do this when she was first born because she decided to come 3 months early and called the NICU home for the first few months of her life. Somehow I don’t think the rest of the families in there would have appreciated the sudden photo shoot! Thankfully she is home now though and doing very well!
